Sculpted in stone: Earth's enduring beauty
My stone sculptures are a testament to the earth's raw power and enduring beauty. Each piece is meticulously carved with metal chisels, allowing me to create either a strikingly smooth finish or a richly textured surface. Whether it's the subtle veins of soapstone or the robust character of Cotswold stone, every material informs the final form, creating unique and tactile artworks.

Carved in wood: Nature's flow and form
Experience the organic elegance of my wood sculptures. These pieces are crafted with a distinctive gouged texture, deliberately left to highlight the natural flow and forms, particularly in my animal subjects. The warmth and grain of the wood bring each creature to life, creating dynamic and tactile representations that invite interaction.

Moulded in clay: Defined realism and character
My clay sculptures, often focusing on heads and figures, offer a journey into defined realism. These pieces are meticulously worked to achieve a high level of detail and a more realistic finish. Each sculpture captures profound character and expression, bringing a sense of life and presence to the clay form.

Painted in watercolour: Capturing light and emotion
My watercolour paintings explore the delicate balance of light and shade through a uniquely expressive application. The paint is often applied very roughly, allowing the luminosity of the watercolours to shine through and capture the essence of the subject. From expressive animal portraits to insightful human studies, these paintings are filled with vibrant energy and emotional depth.

Hand Crafted Furniture:
A Timeless Choice
Hand crafted furniture offers a unique combination of artistry, quality, and sustainability. It enriches our living spaces, reflects our values, and contributes to a healthier planet. I've made furniture from recycled materials and reproduced functional furniture with very little budget, finding ways to have something functional yet quirky the same time is often my choice.
